College offers a broad range of academic, social and spiritual enrichment programs.

Academic Enrichment Programmes

Thursday Meetings provide the student with an academic forum. During these meetings, students cover a wide range of socio-political, economic and religious issues, both at national and global level. These are facilitated by leading academicians and public figures in the University, community and church.

Advanced Assignments

An advanced assignment is an extended essay , normally regarded as a significant additional work in the subject matter of class or other activity. it constitutes a very important part of the academic enhancement programme of the Honours College. Advanced assignments, in particular, are designed to improve students’ reading and research.

Lecture Series

The Lecture series is part of the major effort to stimulate excellence in academic and leadership skills. These will be based on core courses offered at the Honours College during three of the nine Thursday Meetings. These are Philosophy and the Modern Mind and Fundamentals of Leadership. These are facilitated by the faculty.

Social Enrichment Programs

The following constitute the social enrichment programs:

Service Projects

These are outreaches to the community, with the aim of enabling students to develop their character of Christian leadership, and to be in touch with the socio-economic realities in the world in which they live. Every semester students accomplish on-campus and off campus service projects.

Share a Skill - A scholars Project

Schools Outreach

This has now become an important function of Honours College community. 

 Every semester, through the Academic Registry for Admission, students take part in reaching out to school on career guidance.

Retreats

Every semester the Honours College students take a retreat.

The retreat is aimed at helping student refocus on their calling into the community of learning and to God’s purpose for the world.

Spiritual Enrichment Programs

A mentoring Programme

Which is  designed to attach every student to a distinguish member of the formal spiritual nurture

Regular Worship and Bible Study

These help students to grow deep spiritual roots. Since its formation, Honours College has maintained the distinctive Christian identity based on the biblical foundations. These foundations have supported the formation of students in their respective careers.
