Honours College goes online

The Honours College had her first virtual Leadership Development Class which was an academic writing workshop this semester on Thursday, 18 th February 2021. Mrs. Patty Huston-Holm, an accomplished published writer graced the class and she taught the scholars important tips of effective writing. She went on to differentiate between an A paper and a B paper among others. During the same development class, Ms. Birungi Cynthia Muhumuza presented a paper, Preparedness for Technological Adaptability. Scholars enjoyed their experience in the Covid shaped age.

The Second Leadership Development Class hosted Rev. David Kagwa, a youth Pastor at the St Andrew and Philips Cathedral, Mukono. Under the theme ‘Leadership and Personal Identity,’ he shared with Scholars his personal struggles as a young man which affected his Christian walk and calling. He encouraged scholars to value fellowship, holiness and to live a life of surrender.

Thereafter Mr. Cyrus Turinawe presented a paper titled Digital Protection of the consumer in East Africa: AN Analysis of Legal and Policy Framework.

We look forward to holding more Leadership Development Classes.
