Meet Counsel Kihangire Nish Nicholas

Counsel Nicholas Kihangire who graduated from the Honours College and Uganda Christian University in the year 2013, was the first African outside South Africa to practice law in an Asian country. This also made him the first Ugandan to practice law in China.

He is a registered foreign lawyer at Ng and Shum Solicitors and Notaries, Honk Kong; he is also a member of Honk Kong Law Society and Uganda Law Society. His areas of specialization are  Litigation, Arbitration, Cross Cultural Negotiations and International Business Transactions, and he is currently involved in advising several Chinese companies entering East Africa particularly Uganda. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Uganda Christian University in 2013 and from Peking University, Shenzhen, in 2019, with a Masters Degree.

Honours College celebrates Mr. Kihangire and other scholars who have consistently become an inspiration.
