The year 2022 marks Uganda Christian University’s Silver Jubilee! The University, transitioned from a theological college, started in 1997. Today, with five campuses and nearly 13000 students, it has become a trusted education brand and a household name in Higher Education in the Eastern Africa Region. UCU celebrates its 25th anniversary as Uganda’s first chartered private University in the higher education sector.  UCU has become one of the fastest growing, modern higher education institutions in Uganda. We are very proud of our Christian heritage and character and what we have achieved in a relatively short period of time, in an environment that presents many challenges, as well as great opportunities that make our institution and our place in the East African region unique. We continue to expand on our range of relevant programmes, modernising our campuses, and providing modern resources and facilities.
