About The Programme

The Honours College is a constituent programme of Uganda Christian University and its Leadership Development Initiative. Conceived in May 2002, the Initiative is a response to the urgent need for Christian leadership in the country.

The Honours College is the “home” for students who have been chosen for their leadership potential. We believe that effective learning and career preparation cannot be done in isolation. Rather, it is enhanced in a community of love, care and support. Honours College provides its students with such a community.

The corporate nature of the learning process necessarily makes the Honours College more than simply another hall of residence for the University. It is a place where students will be helped to grow in all faculties of life – intellectually, socially, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually. Read More
